Here are some simple guidelines for sending artwork, designs or just rough drafts of your ideas to Signs 2 Go.
We prefer ‘vector’ file formats asuch as .eps, AI, or .pdf. Before you send these formats please save your artwork with all fonts turned to outlines. Some files, such as Photoshop (.psd) files will be too big to email, in which case contact us first and we can advise you of the best method.
Photographs and Logos
Photographs can be saved in .jpeg or .tiff formats. We prefer a minimum resolution of 150 dpi. Make sure you set the size of image as big as possible, i.e., about a third of the size that it will appear on the finished sign. Logos can also be sent in these formats, however we will get the best results from ‘vector’ files (see ‘Finished Artwork’ above).
Microsoft Publisher, Word, Paint, etc
It’s OK to send these files too, we just won’t be able to turn them straight in to signs. But it’s a great way to get the ball rolling and let us see what you want. Our designers are happy to work with any format to turn your ideas in to professional signs, even if its a scribble on the back of an envelope!
